Works really well!

I really liked the clean look this gave me under my foundation. I felt like it helps some with fine lines, and also smoothing of pores. I did not personally care for the thickness, or how it felt to put on, however, it did not feel heavy or noticeable once it was on my skin. I received this product for free, and return for my honest review.

Great primer

I've used this primer for a couple weeks now. I was a little skeptical of how it would do. I was worried it would leave my combination skin feeling too oily and making my other skincare or makeup pill. That's the experience I have had before with primers that feel like this one. Well I am happy to report none of that has happened! This goes on so smoothly over my skincare without any pilling what so ever. My makeup glides on great and doesn't settle into my fine lines anymore. The moisture level is perfect. I am not at all greasy but my skin is hydrated. I can even use this without makeup and feel like I am still covering some of the things I want, like my fine lines and somewhat larger pores. It really does blur everything to a very nice smooth finish. I will definitely be purchasing this when I run out, which will be a while because a little goes a long way. I received this product in exchange for my honest unbiased opinion and review.

The Best of Both Worlds

I thought that I had already found the perfect primer but I was wrong. I need a moisturizer but I hate using one in conjunction with my primer and in my normal make-up routine. The moisturizer always makes my face look shiny and oily so I typically skip it. I was worried the Perricone MD No Makeup Instant Blur Priming Moisturizer was going to do the same thing. I was very wrong. I never used my old primer alone without makeup. The Perricone MD No Makeup Instant Blur Priming Moisturizer is different. I use it as a straight moisturizer but also use it under my makeup. It leaves my skin soft and healthy looking and minimizes lines without leaving my face looking shiny and oily. I love to use it under my foundation. It helps create a flawless base and allows my foundation to go on smoothly. It minimizes the lines around my eyes (yes, I have these, I'm in my early 40s) and also the lines on my forehead. When adding it to my normal makeup routine it leaves my makeup looking flawless all day. It helps my skin look smooth, prevents smudging and the shininess I get with out primers and moisturizers. I am sold and will be purchasing this product again. I can now eliminate my daily moisturizer since this product does that job and the job of a primer.

Thick primer that holds with the right makeup products

I was excited to try this product from such a great skincare line. This moisturizer has a great feel- Very thick, but with used feels like a thin putty. I absorbed and layed well. I first used it on a day where I was doing a full face for a formal event. Unfortunately this product didn't play well with my foundation (Charlotte T) and there was pilling. I think it is very important to warm the moisturizer primer in your hands first to ease the placement on face, and to also use in combo with make up products that play well with this primers ingredient list. I wouldn't consider this an all purpose primer- but it has great qualities when used properly.

Good product for oily or combination skin

This product works pretty well for me given I have oily/combination skin. It is not my go-to product when I want to wear heavy makeup, as I have found it doesn't layer well on my skin. I use this on no makeup days when I want to minimize pores. I've also used a tinted moisturizer over this and it works well.

Blurs lines instantly

I really liked this product. It went on smooth and instantly smoothed the fine lines and pores instantly. It wasn't thick or greasy and made my face soft. It worked well with my foundation too. I definitely would recommend Perricone instant blur to friends.

Takes a little experimenting but works well

I am enjoying trying Makeup Instant Blur Priming Moisturizer that I received as a gift from Perricone MD. It's taken good bit of trial and error with this product to find how it best works for me. The application instructions on the box say to "Warm for a few seconds between fingertips. Massage onto cleansed face . . ." This method does not work for me. This product is a thick cream and pills/rolls up when I do this. What works for me is to just dab it onto my face and spread it with my fingertips like I'm applying regular moisturizer or sunscreen. This primer is moisturizing, but my cheeks get flaky. So I definitely have to moisturize prior to using this. Also, I have a decent amount of redness on my cheeks as well as shine. Thanks combination skin! No Makeup Instant Blur Priming Moisturizer does temper the redness down a good bit and reduces the shine. I don't need to use a lot of product. Too much causes the rolling issue again. When I've done it right, it leaves a nice soft focus matte finish that makes a good base for foundation and the rest of my makeup.

Blurs and mattifying

The products does an excellent job at blurring and mattifying the face. Creates a great canvas for putting on makeup. I am not sure why this is called a moisturizer however, it did not feel moisturizing on my face. I'd use it as a primer over a really good moisturizer but not on its own.

Magic!!

This product is sheer magic! At first glance, I didn't think I'd love it bc it seems rather thick for a moisturizer. I WAS WRONG! It warms right up in your hands and goes on smooth and silky. It creates a noticeably smoother canvas for makeup but right now I'm loving it by itself for color correction and overall smoothing effect without makeup! I did receive this product for free in exchange for a review, but I will most certainly be repurchasing! My skin is overall softer and more moisturized even before I put it on in the morning. I'mdefinitely going to check out the rest of the no makeup line from Dr P.
