Product did not impress me
I received this product, Perricone MD Chia Body Oil, in exchange for my honest review. My first impression was that the bottle looked very nice and that the oil would feel luxurious. But upon using the product, I was not very impressed. The body oil is advertised as a 'dry' oil, and that it is. It is SO dry, that you don't even realize you've applied anything to your skin at all. You can't see it…there is no sheen left on your skin. No healthy glow that most oils have. You don't feel it…I did not feel any hydrating or moisturizing benefits from it either. To be honest, I did not notice any results from it at all. There is a very slight scent…which is nice…I would have preferred if the scent was a little more noticeable to appreciate the aromatherapy. I personally was disappointed in this body oil and would not purchase it on my own.

Great scent, soft skin!
I've been using the Chia Body Oil twice a day since I received it, primarily on my elbows and heels. It's for use on knees, too, but I didn't really need it there. The oil has a very light, pleasant scent. It absorbs quickly, so there is no oily residue left on my hands or on my body — I can get dressed immediately. I notice the greatest effect in my heels, which were rather dry but are now much softer! I can't say that there are any cons to this product, except some people might not want to take the extra step. It's a bit on the pricey side, but if you are committed to great skincare, like I am, it's about the product quality rather than the cost!

No more cracked elbows
I was a little wary of using an oil specifically on my elbows, knees and heels, but I'm so happy that I did. Because I live in the South, my elbows and heels are always exposed and as a result, they get very dry and cracked. I started using this Essential Fx Acyl-Glutathione Chia Body Oil on my worst dry patches to test it out and the transformation (especially in my elbows) has been amazing. My heels are looking much better as well (but they were worse, so they've got another few weeks of treatment before they look like babies feet). Thanks to Perricone MD for creating yet another product that actually does what it claims.
